S02E14 – One of the Ones

This episode begins with Ends telling us all about his trip with Bobby Krea to the 1st annual WTMH radio awards this past weekend. Bobby took home the awards for best new artist AND best hip-hop artist! He talks about how he got to hang out with Bushwick Bill, and then details his parking lot fingerblasting date. After bragging about his PC for a while, we talk a bit about the new Pokemon games and Detective Pikachu before moving on to our thoughts on the new Chucky movie and Jennifer Tilly’s sweet huge melons.  

Ends brings us news of Half-Life VR, and gives his final thoughts on Red Dead Redemption II after finishing it. We talk about showing our kids classic games, and look forward to the days where we discover our new favorite games. Kyle then rants and raves about Derren Brown since he was on Joe Rogan last week, and urges everyone to watch his new special on Netflix, titled Sacrifice. We wrap up the first half with our thoughts on the midterm results.

The second half starts with a brand new segment, called Throwback Spotlight! Each week one of us will choose an old album we enjoy and present it to our listeners (and co-host). After spending some time with it over the course of the week, we will give it a full review on the following show. This week’s spotlight album, chosen by Ends, is The Rest is History  (2004) by MC Jin. Next week we will discuss the album We the People (2005), by Flipsyde.

We dive right into a superhero themed Raise the Bars segment, and then count down our top 5 favorite superheroes of all time (RIP Stan Lee!). We share our thoughts on what DC should do with Batman, and Kyle shows off some of his old Marvel Masterpiece cards from 1993. We wrap it up with a quick discussion about bow biters
