S02E09 – The Game Ain’t Got No Love
We start this episode by showing off our new Iconoclash merch and catch up on our week. We have a fun chat about Conor McGregor, and then we discuss Shaggy’s attempt to drop kick Fred Durst. We briefly touch on Venom, Ends’ trip to the new LEGO Land, and Suge Knight’s son claiming Tupac is still alive. We hear all about the movie Await Further Instructions, and get we finally get Kyle’s opinion of the 2015 Adam Sandler classic Pixels.
Game chat begins with the breaking Borderlands 2 VR news, and we talk about the resurgence of side-scrolling Metroidvania style games, and whether or not they’re worth the money. Games discussed include Hollow Knight, The Messenger, Owlboy, and Iconoclasts. We finish game talk with our thoughts on classic years for gaming, specifically 1998 and 2007
After a break we return with Raise the Bars and we clash on our opinions of ICP and their lyrics. We then count down our top 5 favorite turn-based RPG games of all time. We wrap things up with a quick update on our ongoing beef with The GOAT and your MOM.
